Seeking to hire their first designer to lead the company through a rebrand and establish its position in the market, the team prioritized finding someone who could excel in a fast-paced, ever-evolving start-up environment. As a small, close-knit team, cultural fit was critical. They needed a versatile Brand Designer with strong branding, UI, and marketing design expertise—a true all-rounder capable of rolling out the brand across all platforms, both print and digital. The ideal candidate would embody the collaborative spirit of a scaling tech company, ready to dive in, contribute across multiple areas, and thrive as a true team player.

Because this was a new role and we wanted to provide a range of designers with different strengths and design aesthetic.  In only two weeks, we presented seven candidates, the offer letter was signed the week after and the candidate started exactly six weeks after our kick-off meeting.
