We are seeking a talented corporate Video Production Specialist for a three month contract with our client in the Financial Services industry.  This role is all encompassing of the video production process, including conceptualizing, directing, shooting and performing post production/video editing – an incredible opportunity for an intermediate-level candidate who has experience creating short video productions (1-2 minutes in duration) from within the corporate sector (ideally Professional Services or Financial), which are geared for social media.

The Video Production Specialist will work with our client's digital marketing and design team to plan, film, edit and deliver video content for the firm. 

The successful candidate must have access to the hardware required to edit HD video content. Videos may be recorded remotely (via, on-site in the Toronto head office, or at locations across Canada, depending on need. Business expenses will be covered when travel is required. Duties will include working with other team members and leveraging video expertise and recommendations to acquire the best performance from subjects.

To be successful in this role you must be able to understand marketing objectives and work creatively and collaboratively. Experience with basic animation, titling, and an understanding of design fundamentals is also required.


  • Corporate video production from pre- to post- including lighting, audio, camera, editing, and simple motion graphics.
  • Planning and executing video shoots on location and in studio, including green screen.
  • Working independently to set up and tear down lighting and cameras, as well as pack and transport up to 100lbs of video equipment for location shoots.
  • Flexibility to travel across Canada with video kit, if required.


  • University degree or college diploma in video production, related
  • Minimum 2–5 years experience working in an agency or in-house creative environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Strong creative, technical, project management, and relationship management skills.
