Job Summary

Reporting to Co-Founder/Head of Operations,  the Sr. Project Manager is an expert at managing multiple projects simultaneously using various software and methodologies. This person has a passion for and experience in launching complex websites and other digital solutions for patrons, and has a strong understanding of e-commerce and Shopify.  The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and the ability to stay organized and ahead of deadlines across multiple teams and projects.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Scope and manage projects in detail to ensure team understanding and to meet patron expectations every time

  • Ensure adequate and appropriate resources are assigned to each project, including taking the lead to coordinate resourcing with other teams

  • Provide mentorship to other team members, particularly other project managers / coordinators

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope and in alignment with patron goals and expectations

  • Continuously check in on project status, staying in proactive contact with all stakeholders, and acting as project linchpin

  • Manage and communicate all ongoing patron schedules and workflows with the project teams

  • Work to remove barriers for the teams at all stages of each project

  • Support the wider project teams in patron meetings providing technical knowledge and expertise and solving problems creatively where necessary

  • Work with the design and development teams to maintain and improve processes and improve efficiencies wherever possible

  • Monitor each project to ensure every milestone is delivered to the highest quality

  • Create, manage and maintain technical project documentation to support the delivery of the project

  • Jump in on other tasks where required to help out other Jammers


  • 5+ years experience in project management or production lead roles

  • Experience bringing structure to creativity and creating delivery environments that help the work thrive, while ensuring it meets key business objectives

  • Experience in a digital, creative, or growth agency is preferred

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and following different project management methodologies

  • Experience working collaboratively with patrons and a team from project scope through to successful project delivery

  • Prove experience in consistently delivering projects on budget, within scope, and on time

  • Ability to communicate effectively across internal teams and with external parties

  • The drive and desire to consistently meet – or better – exceed patron expectations

  • Proven experience working within strict set budgets and time constraints

  • A strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and Shopify specifically

  • Strong creative problem-solving skills

  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks, juggle multiple priorities, and find efficiencies wherever possible

  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated curiosity and resourcefulness

  • Ability and desire to stay up to date and in the know with design trends, techniques, and technology

  • Strong presentation skills and rationalization of work

  • Proficiency using: Asana— including template and automation build-outs via Zapier—Google Suite and Shopify / website CMS basics are highly desirable for this role
