We are seeking a savvy Senior Social Media Manager for a full time opportunity working with our client in the Financial Services sector. Head offices are located in Winnipeg, but you'll be working a hybrid role working, a combination of offsite and onsite in downtown Toronto.

  • Raise the bar for social media in the wealth management/financial services industry
  • Work closely with the digital marketing lead to develop and implement a targeted social media strategy that elevates our client's presence across channels and delivers on key objectives
  • Make recommendations on audiences, formats and platforms to maximize reach and deliver results
  • Collaborate with Marketing peers and Corporate stakeholders to build and drive thought leadership and brand narrative
  • Develop social campaigns as part of external Communications strategies (paid and organic)
  • Create and maintain social media marketing analytics/dashboard to inform and report on activities and identify new opportunities (including a competitive overview)
  • Partner with in-house videographer to create social-first video content
  • Champion social media support to help our internal customers leverage social media and implement best practices
  • Oversee corporate social media content
  • Act as ambassador and custodian of the brand
  • Analyze and report on social performance, modifying content plans to accordingly
  • Actively keep a pulse on social media trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape
  • Help establish and implement department procedures, striving to create efficiencies 


  • 4+ years of experience planning, creating, implementing, and measuring brand appropriate social media campaigns
  • University degree or diploma in Communications, Advertising or other relevant programs
  • Innovative thinker who embraces feedback
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Adept multi-tasker with solid organizational skills
  • Strong writing and presentation ability
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing needs and rapidly growing company
  • Creative collaborator but able to hit the ground running and work independently as needed
  • Excellent attitude and commitment to providing extraordinary service
  • Experience with Adobe CS or similar
