Creative Niche is proud to be partnering with this national non-profit organization whose purpose is solely rooted in lifesaving products and services for Canadians.  We are currently recruiting for two Marketing Specialists who will assist in the delivery of product, processes and services. This role is open to permanent residents/citizens of Canada.

In this key role, the incumbent will be responsible for facilitating all marketing activities and initiatives for the assigned client group. The Marketing Specialist will execute the plans and strategies that contribute to the strategic goals. As a right hand to Product Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist must stay informed about the market, trends, and landscape of the business, while helping to strategize and implement marketing and advertising plans.

The incumbent will be required to draft reports, create, or coordinate content, track results, build relationships with team members and support all marketing strategies as required. Additional responsibilities include assisting with identifying marketing trends and opportunities and to keep informed and be current with the industry’s latest developments, trends, and promotional opportunities.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing short and long-term marketing strategies and advertising campaigns to create and increase brand awareness through:

    • supporting marketing project development under the direction of the Product Marketing Manager;

    • determining the feasibility and profitability of new market or existing campaigns;

    • fostering and executing marketing and advertising campaigns by analyzing forecasts;

    • managing on-going marketing and advertising campaigns and plans, while ensuring that every initiative is aimed at increasing brand awareness;

    • assisting the Product Marketing Manager (and others as required) with the implementation of online marketing strategies through social media accounts;

    • providing ideas, recommendations, and plans to contribute to the optimization of marketing strategies

    • scheduling promotional presentations, maintaining an annual project calendar, and ensuring deadlines are respected;

    • participating in developing marketing solutions and support for a better understanding of the brand’s voice and personality to determine the most profitable means of distribution of content.

  • Overseeing marketing material including:

    • coordinating, editing, and optimizing any material concerning advertising, branding, and marketing;

    • review each project to guarantee it complies with the product’s information before its submission to the Product Marketing Manager;

    • ensuring that every material is consistent with planned marketing strategies;

    • monitoring and maintaining promotional materials inventory when necessary;

    • executing marketing plans, campaigns, and strategies in line with the agreed upon budget and providing detailed reports on budget expenses.

  • Preparing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual market reports on current and forecasted data including:

    • summarizing the assessment conducted by marketing analytics on the effectiveness of past and on-going strategies;

    • analyzing the feedback of previous or current marketing campaigns;

    • measuring the impact and outcomes of marketing activities;

    • Compiling and analyzing data to accurately report impact and outcomes of marketing activities.



  • a university degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field from a recognized academic institution.

  • 4-7 years of related experience in external customer-facing marketing environments.

  • at least 1-3 years of related experience in external customer communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • experience working within a sales and account management or community/corporate development (1 – 3 years) environment.

  • experience in communicating to a variety of audiences, internal and external;

  • detailed project and event management experience;

  • skilled in research of industries related to competitive analysis and benchmarking of information;

  • prior experience working in a customer service capacity where CLV (customer lifetime value) and customer journeys are measured;

  • prior experience working with sales and partnership environments;

  • can speak to the importance of exceptional customer and client servicing process and procedures;

  • possesses a high level of skills and attention to detail regarding analytical, creativity, problem solving and organizational skills.

  • ability to distill down high level data, strategy, and creative visions to manageable and executable programs.

  • proven effective written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • demonstrated ability to meet goals and performance indicators with strong planning, organizing, interpersonal and analytical skills and thrive in a matrix environment.

  • comfortable working independently and within team environments in a professional capacity.

  • comfortable working with diverse cultures, multi-disciplinary groups, and with both internal and external clients.

  • technically comfortable working within a variety of technologies and software to produce both pre-defined and ad-hoc reports from a variety of data sources and ability to synthesize and distill information

  •  demonstrated experience in creative problem solving skills related to reports, changing priorities, marketing objectives and nurture campaigns to ensure positive outcomes.

  • bilingual (English and French) language skills are an asset (Verbal, written, comprehension).
