We're working with a communications agency who focuses on employee experiences to help them find an Account Manager to join their fast-growing team! In this role you must maintain effective delivery of communication solutions to their clients. Maintaining the business relationships with clients to maximize growth, retention and business value.

Responsibilities: 

  • Working closely with leadership and within project teams, collaboratively
  • Maintain and develop a portfolio of clients by providing high quality advice, communication project management and world class project implementation
  • Help and support the development of other members of the team
  • Accountable for the day-to-day quality, timeliness and overall standard of all project work produced for assigned clients
  • Ownership and coordination of client projects
  • Manage projects in line with our processes, to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Estimating and budget management
  • Tactical consulting and problem solving
  • Attend client meetings, conference calls and manage the day-to-day relationship with assigned clients
  • Maintain relationships with our vendors/suppliers – gathering estimates, POs, spot-checks
  • Build strong relationships that enable day-to-day accounts 
  • Provide a professional, high quality service to all clients, colleagues and other third parties.
  • Proactively manage all stakeholder expectations (internal and external), always aiming to exceed those expectations where possible
  • Build strong, collaborative and respectful relationships 
  • Weekly completion and distribution of client status reports during live projects
  • Contact reports within 48hrs of a client meeting
  • Ensure all jobs have a statement of work approved by internal stakeholders and the client
  • Accurately record all chargeable and non-chargeable time
  • Liaise with suppliers to chase invoices for the monthly invoicing process, where required

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role, account and project management
  • Graduate or equivalent
  • Competent technical specialist in employee benefits, IC or pensions
  • Creative agency, marketing, retirement, consultancy or HR communication experience 
  • Supplier and stakeholder management required
  • Service orientated: outstanding customer service, ability to translate client needs
  • Excellent organization skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
  • Core consulting skills in communication and project implementation, including: proactivity, questioning, listening and taking a collaborative/partnership approach with clients (not order-taking)
  • Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and develop workable solutions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work, including ability to produce high standards of documentation
  • Confidence in negotiating with internal and external stakeholders when required
  • Able to deal with change in a positive way
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
