Role Summary

We’re searching for an experienced Technical Writer to join our team and help take our customer-focused services to new heights. As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly technical field, such as software development, computer science, or engineering. Your ability to evaluate and analyze complex information is second to none, and you have a natural desire to help people understand things that are hard to understand.

Requirements

1. Experience using the Linux shell, command-line Git, HTML/CSS, and/or at least one programming language (does not have to be in a professional context)
2. Experience using static site generators and managing docs as code
3. Experience writing, editing, researching, and planning software documentation
4. Excellent skills in grammar, minimalist documentation design, and effective information architecture

Responsibilities         

1. Plan and complete large content initiatives, such as section reviews and revamps
2. Plan and lead documentation site feature enhancement initiatives, and work with UX Researchers and Product Designers to identify contextual content and documentation opportunities in the product
3. Mentor newly hired technical writers, lead projects when pairing with other technical writers, and plan new cross-functional efforts
4. Actively seek out trending topics and create storytelling opportunities that showcase the company and grow engagement amongst the company’s various audiences

Salary Range   60K-70K
