Copy Editor
Role Summary
Looking for an Editor to join our marketing team. The Editor will be part of a dynamic and creative brand team and will help to elevate our brand voice. The Editor will be responsible for ensuring marketing materials are written with a high standard of quality, with clear and concise copy.
Requirements
- At least 7 years experience in an agency or in-house environment, preferably as part of a creative team or organization
- Management experience
- BA degree (English or writing preferable)
- Familiarity with standard style and usage guides
Responsibilities
- Make sure work stays on schedule
- Edit existing content to fit new formats and character counts
- Work closely with writers and the entire team to maintain tone and style, and ensure clarity and accuracy
- Proofread newly created content to ensure it’s error-free and adheres to brand guidelines
Salary Range 50K-60K
