Our client, home to some of the largest fashion brands, is looking to hire a Director, eCommerce to manage all aspects of eCommerce for two of their most established brands.  In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans including web-based marketing initiatives, social media, development of databases and overseeing all legal requirements and full P&L responsibility.  All while staying abreast of changes in the online eCommerce environment, to best serve the objectives of the Company.

In this position, you’ll:

  • Strengthen and enhance customer service experiences
  • Successfully launch and manage eCommerce initiatives
  • Identify strategies to grow market share
  • Spearhead ongoing innovation by launching new features and functionality to grow the business
  • Motivate and inspire a dedicated team of eCommerce innovators
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain of the eCommerce roadmap based on current industry best practices and trends
  • Liaison and primary point of contact for all eCommerce initiatives, partners and agencies, to evaluate, prioritize, develop, test, launch and manage new technologies, websites or features
  • Work closely with the Buying and Allocations teams to ensure stock levels support sales targets
  • Develop and oversee Digital Content Calendars to support email & push notification programs
  • Plan, collaborate and oversee the execution of the Digital Graphic Design team to support weekly or monthly updates onsite and in app
  • Oversee product uploading, maintenance, merchandising and promotions
  • Liaise with cross functional departments for all business-related launches and strategies
  • Develop and oversee marketplace partnerships, including merchandising, marketing, promotions & listing optimizations

In this position, you’ll be responsible for:

  • All site sales and conversion; ensuring they are meeting goals and objectives
  • Build weekly, monthly and annual sales projections, tracking and reforecasting as needed
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive revenue and profitability of the eCommerce business to meet and/or exceed growth plans
  • Developing and managing Digital Marketing strategy to increase engagement, conversion and retention
  • Overall user experience and optimization of user journey, navigation and search
  • Maximizing conversion and site usability
  • Providing training, guidance and support in the development of concepts, strategies, planning, implementation, and coordination of eCommerce marketing projects
  • Manage the relationships with fulfillment locations to ensure that orders are shipped within 24 Hours
  • Prepare, analyze and evaluate weekly reports
  • Developing and managing partner carrier relationships, contracts, onboarding and ongoing service
  • Establish, document and uphold policies and procedures that will develop a culture of continuous improvement
