We have an exciting opportunity with our client in the wayfinding, information design, cartography and visual identity industry. They are seeking a talented, intermediate Wayfinding Designer to join their Toronto team.

The ideal candidate will have creative flair, technical ability and be able to interpret and deliver briefs to a high standard. You will work in a demanding and enjoyable environment across projects including the design of reports, presentations and infographics for a wide range of their projects and clients from across the business, while also contributing to their wayfinding, information design, cartography and visual identity projects.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business internationally to provide high-quality consulting and differentiated services to their clients
  • Contribute to and help deliver successful projects (time, cost, quality) or major workstreams
  • Manage and develop their own career path and network
  • Contribute to effective team performance on both financial and behavioral measures
  • Broaden and develop their own expertise and skill set to align with the needs 
  • Support business development and work winning through maintenance and development of client networks
Requirements: 
  • 3-5 years’ experience
  • Degree in graphic/information design
  • Must be a creative thinker/problem solver able to get to the 'essence’ of a brief quickly
  • Thrives working in a high pressure, collaborative environment
  • Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Ability to confidently create both print & digital user-centred communications
  • Highly developed graphic sensibility with an excellent grasp of typography and layout
  • Solid ability and confidence to present and explain original ideas
  • Quick learner who enjoys developing new skills
  • Strong time management, reflecting excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and meet strict deadlines according to the needs of the business
This is a full-time position located in downtown Toronto.
