We are seeking a talented Senior Product Designer for an exciting freelance opportunity for immediate consideration, working onsite with our client.  This opportunity has a strong potential to lead to full time, for the right fit. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, engineers to discover and iterate on what customers desire
• Explore customer problems in-depth to understand their needs
• Solve new challenges for our products as we identify new opportunities
• Focused on working on problems rather than features
• Use quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform the design decisions iteratively.
• Contextualize the holistic impact of your design across our products 
• Create user scenarios, user journey, wireframes, UI designs and prototypes throughout the full cycle of the product development
• Drive design through data, build methods to collect and analyze data from user interactions, run/attend experiments and user interviews
• You like to see your work released quickly and regularly and continue to define success 

Requirements:

• Driven by consumer growth and adoption through mobile 
• Demonstrated understanding of working with mobile growth metrics and funnels
• Strong product thinking to identify problem/opportunities, JTBD and hypothesis testing 
• Experienced with design thinking process and can guide team members through 
• Familiar planning and establishing design sprints 
• You are an excellent storyteller and communicator
• Lead and mentor designers within a group 
• Experience using, building, and maintaining design systems and UI component libraries
• Strengths in UX strategy, information architecture, systems design
• Comfortable working in agile environments 
• You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on. It’s never someone else’s problem
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a product/UX designer with a focus on consumer-facing mobile products
• Strong portfolio showcasing the problem solving skill and high design caliber; you MUST provide a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable) to be considered for this role
• Fluency in the latest product design trends, tools and technology cross platform
• Fluency designing for iOS and Android
• Understanding of accessibility standards
