eCommerce Manager

Our online retailer client is seeking a strategic eCommerce Manager to partner with their sales teams across Canada, US and International to develop and execute sales strategies for direct-to-consumer B2C eCommerce sales and B2B retail sales channels. In this role you would be responsible to manage, develop, and grow relationships with key e-commerce retailers by delivering a premium on-line sales experience to drive product sales. 


  • Maintain/Develop & implement a strong eCommerce web platform
  • Work closely with various product, marketing and sales roles to align eCommerce sales strategies and tactics with supporting analytics
  • Manage external partners including negotiating website terms and contracts as approved
  • Maintain the website and channel system including managing product assortment, pricing, reviews, promotions etc.
  • Work with the Product Manager and others to develop short and long-term strategies and plans to maximize eCommerce sales
  • Increase the share of ecommerce sales within overall company sales
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and business relationships to expand revenue profitability and sales
  • Work closely with the marketing team for social media content calendar and works with agency/in-house coordinator to ensure appropriate content is posted regularly
  • Generate creative and unique promotions and offers based on market research Data Analytics
  • Reviews data providing analytics for sales insights and make recommendations for sales opportunities
  • Develop monthly sales forecasts working with others
  • Manage annual eCommerce sales and profitability plans and monitor results for the eCommerce channel
  • Manage business relationships with all external partners 
  • Develop and manage internal processes – from customer touch points to logistics & finance
  • Manage business negotiations and all contract related matters (as approved)
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to improve KPIs, co-developing solutions to drive operational success and sales


  • 5+ years working experience in B2C and eCommerce 
  • Post- secondary education in business or marketing or related studies
  • Strong overall business acumen and understanding of interdependencies and product commercialization on web platforms
  • Strong analytical skills for analysis and forecasting
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail for detailed website contents
  • Strong planning skills to manage multiple competing tasks
  • Well developed communication & interpersonal skills to build internal and external relationships
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently with sense of urgency to meet deadlines
