Creative Niche has been exclusively retained to work on behalf of a pharmaceutical and healthcare agency to hire for a number of creative, account and strategy positions across Canada.  This global agency is experiencing fast-paced growth due to its accomplishments, reputation and innovative approach to service their clients, around the world.

Role Objective: 

Reporting to the VP, Global Executive Creative Director, the Traffic Manager, located in Toronto, is responsible to organize project details and production schedules for the Creative team, to monitor workloads, and assist the creative project pipeline from initial concept to product delivery. The Traffic Manager must be a self-starter, flexible, organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to the successes of the creative team and the agency as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate resources according to mandates
  • Prioritize requests and track projects to meet deadlines and time allocated for each creative mandate
  • Support creative teams to ensure that they have access to the resources required to complete their mandates
  • Follow up with creative teams on the progress of current projects
  • Recruit and supervise freelancers
  • Monitor and manage the workloads of the creative team
  • Schedule various meetings and maintain a team planner
  • Manage and archive current records
  • Manage various administrative documents
  • Act as a contact person with the Creative team and Client Service team
  • Assist with pitches, product launches, seasonal initiatives, and other projects as needed
  • Support Creative Directors with their human resource management activities
  • Assist Creative Directors in booking travel and accommodations (as needed)
  • Respond to corporate requests pertaining to the agency's outreach
  • Contribute to the development of best practices within the creative team

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Post secondary education
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role at an advertising agency
  • Strong sense of organization and planning
  • Self-directed
  • Keen understanding of creative best practices
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency 
  • Ability to effectively track and manage timelines
  • Ability to prioritize, to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate effectively and thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated positive attitude, open minded and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Office 365 suite
